My name is Sara and I’m a director, writer, and producer based in New York City. You probably followed me from one of my projects:

• Project Consent, the grassroots organization against sexual assault I founded at 17

• Bad Actor, the award winning cult expose I wrote for The Cut

• or one of the many events I’ve thrown on behalf of myself, a brand, or an organization. Like my literary salon, F1 on Tap, etc.

I also write about culture, identity, and politics for Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, NYLON, and more publications.

I used to post a lot more on Instagram and then got burnt out, hence the empty profile ): I’m still writing on Substack and working on a number of projects I’m excited about! Like:

• Public TRANSit, a podcast about the trans identity, hosted by my close friend Alyx Liu, executive produced by me

• F1 on Tap, an event series for Formula 1 fans at women’s sports bars across the Us

• My second book and essay collection, This Has To Mean Something

• and more, but I’m getting too lazy to talk about myself more…
